  • about

In May of 2001 I stepped on the Peace Boat, with a nifty (at the time) digital camera to record my voyage around our small chunk o' rock, water, air and fire. Had not the faintest idea it would turn into seven years with Peace Boat (and counting), and a financial black hole called "photography".

150,000 - 200,000 pics later, I've finally gotten around to organizing them for folks to see just what I've been up to. All the of the travels, life in Tokyo, romps in the ocean and so on, will hopefully find a visually represention here.

As for the equipment: it all began with an Olympus C-700 2mp 10x zoom camera, from which came some of my most favorites. That was followed briefly by a Nikon 5700. The big splash came in 2003 with the wonderful Canon 10D, leading to a 20D, and now the 40D. And a bag load of gear that's hurt my back good. A little Ricoh GX100 jumped in there as well.

Anyhow, more about cameras and stories in the other sections. Here, just enjoy the pics : )
